Meet Me on Monday!! 12-06-10

It has been a while since I've joined in on Meet Me on Monday. It is always so much fun to let people get to know a little bit more about me and to get to know others. Here are a few little tidbits about me that I'm sure you couldn't make it through your week without knowing....j/k



Questions: 

1.  What is your favorite kind of cheese?
I'm actually really funny about cheese. I only like cheese if it is on pizza, broccoli and nachos, oh and broccoli and cheese soup..yum, my favorite.


2.  What size is your bed?
My bed, one of my favorite places to be is a nice king-size bed with a great pillow-top mattress. We have to have a king-size bed because someone sleeps like a crazy person...I won't name names(me).

3.  What is your most overused phrase?
I have so many overused phrases that it is so hard to pick just one. If I can choose just one I guess it would be...."are you serious(ly)?" I tend to always ask that question; knowing full well if they are serious or not.

4.  Green or purple grapes?
Growing up all we ever ate were green grapes but now I am in love with seedless purple grapes. They are a lot sweeter than the green grapes and we all know how I love my sweets.


5.  Shower, morning or night?
It sometimes depends on my work schedule but I usually like to bathe in the morning. It helps me to wake up and start my day.

Questions: 

1.  How many TV’s do you have in your home?

We only have two television in our home. One in the living room and one in our bedroom. I want to eventually get one for my daughter's room but right now it would be pointless. She rarely watched TV.

2.  What is on your bedside table (nightstand)?

I don't have a nightstand but on my bed post you can usually find a hair brush, my work keys, and some wrappers from whatever snack I had before going to bed.

3.  How many pair of shoes do you own?

If you ask my husband; he will tell you way too many. I actually only have about 40 pairs of shoes. A woman can never have too many shoes. There are probably four that I wear on a daily basis. When we buy a house I want my husband to build some shelves (see below) for my growing shoe collection.

4.  Can you change a flat tire?

I actually can change my own flat tire. My dad made that a requirement when I learned to drive. You had to be able to check all your fluid and change a tire. You know what I can do better than change my tire?....Call someone else to fix it for me.

5.  Do you prefer sweet treats or salty treats?

Definitely sweet treats but after I eat a lot of sweets I usually counter it with something salty like salt & vinegar chips.

Meet Me on Monday!! 9-20-10

I really look forward to Meet Me on Monday's. It is a chance you to get to know a little more about me. I sometimes learn new things about myself as well. I hope you enjoy this weeks installment.

Questions: 

1. What is your favorite all time movie?
This one is a tough one. I have so many movies that I love. I think I am going to have to go with Devil's Advocate. I love anything law related. Al Pacino played his role so well that I could watch any other movies with him it it for I while because I thought he was the devil.

2. How often do you go over the speed limit?
Unfortunately, way to often than I would like to admit. I keep trying to tell the police officers that I have a condition called lead foot but they don't buy it.  Now that my speedometer in my truck isn't working; I have to use my Droid app to know how fast I'm going.

3. What really gives you the creeps?
All bugs give me the creeps. I will break my neck just to get away from them. Especially those horrible nasty roaches...

4. What is your favorite snack?
I have two favorite snacks that are on total opposite ends of the spectrum. fruit and chocolate chips cookie(the inner fat girl in my can't resist). It just depends on which one is more readily available. Luckily it is usually fruit.

5. Would you rather be a dog named Killer or a cat named Fluffy?
I'm going to have to go with a dog named Killer because I'm not the biggest fan of cats. Plus, my daughter is allergic to cats so now I have an excuse to not have to be around them.

Questions: 

1. Do you wear socks to bed?

I feel completely naked if I don't have my socks on. It drives my husband crazy...but guess what? He will get over it...lol

2. Do you have any pets?

I have a 5-year old Jack-Russel Terrier. She was my first child. She was so spoiled before my husband and me real daughter came around. Now she is constantly tormented by Kyla on a daily basis.

3. What topping(s) do you like on your pizza?

I'm a pretty simple girls when it comes to my pizza....cheese, cheese and more cheese please. Every once in a while I will be wild and add mushroom to my pizza.

4. What time do you go to bed?

Oh man, that is the question of the century. It depends on when I can get off work. Most day I work night shift and don't get home until 1 or 2AM. So my bedtime is usually around 3AM (Yawn!)

5. Would you rather get free chocolate for one year or free potatoes forever?

This is what my staff got me for my birthday...so I think you all have the answer to this question
