You Can't Handle the Truth!!!

This week I have decided to participate in Mama Kat's Writing Workshop again because I had so much fun with it last week (see Raspberry Beret). This weeks topic that I picked was confessions.

We all have our confessions and honestly some of those confessions need to stay locked up FOREVER!! You know the ones. I going to get some confessions off my chest and I hope that you don't look at me differently after reading this post.

Here we go:

I still sometimes wait until everyone goes to sleep and sneak and eat bags of candy (see Relapse)
I don't wear a lot of dresses and skirts because I hate shaving my legs. Thank goodness for winter..
In the State championship track meet in high school I ~~accidentally~~ knocked the other girl's hurdle to win first place. I know....that make me a horrible person.
There are days when baby girl is acting like a wild banshee that I'm glad to go to work to get a break.
I tell people I don't want any more kids but I really want three more. I loved being pregnant.
I've peed in the shower. Come on don't look at me like that...you know you've done it too.
I have more blond moments than actual blond do.
Hi, My name is Chanel and I am a shopaholic. You can put me in any store and I assure you I can find at least one thing to buy.
I still text while I drive sometimes...I hope there are no Georgia cops reading this.
I spend more time reading blogs than I do reading my chapters for school. Shame on me!!

I know that I'm probably going to lost about 10 followers after you guys read this...oh well, I'm just keeping it real. I hope you can handle the truth.

coming by from SITS... I didn't do Mama Kat's this week... maybe I need to confess why?
Love your confessions and hey, some days I go to work to get away from the kids too...then remember... I don't go to work!
Well, I do ( I'm there now) but I work in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep... or should be...

I doubt if you'll lose any followers because of this. I never peed in the shower but did poop once in the bathtub as a kid. It just had to come out! I was responsible though and cleaned it all out myself. Haven't told a soul until now when I put it on here for the whole world to see. What is it about the Internet that entices us to share our darkest secrets with the world?

I think about running away from home at least once a month or so.

Working is often easier than dealing with a screaming child...adults rarely scream, they just whine and complain. I have no trouble tuning that out. But a crying kid gets to me like nothing else.

I don't think any of these were that bad, other than the texting while driving, and I'll confess I do it sometimes too. The other day Baby Girl actually called me out on it. Not texting, but looking at my phone. Yep, I was reprimanded by a 5yo.

I really know I shouldn't text and drive and I try not to. Me texting and driving is almost as bad as drinking and driving.

Peeing in the shower is a big confession? I pee in the shower EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just something about all that warm water, I dunno.
And the good stuff was SO gone out of my kid's candy like in 2 days.

Popping in from SITS! Well, I don't judge so your fine with me. Lol!
I only shave my legs in the summer when I wear shorts, skirts etc, Same goes for pedicures, I don't get them if I'm not showing off my feet. I guess I should add special occasions, If I have to wear a dress or open toe shoes I'll shave and get a pedi. :-)

Ya, I hate shaving my legs too, I'm a shopaholic, and I always tell people I can't handle anymore kids, but I really, really want another one.......just one more though because I definitely couldn't handle 3 :)

Let's just say I'm guilty of most of your confessions too. I'm more of a window shopaholic now though. I usually eat more than just candy. Yikes!
